Mac 2 Prelim
We found our prelim to be a fun and exciting experiment because of the varieties of shots and mise-en-scene that is shown in the original music video, however the lip syncing was quite difficult to get the words around because of the fast pacing of the song and also the action that needed to be multi-tasked when imitating the music video.
But on the other hand it has been such an interesting, funny but thrilling experience that gives us a taste of how much hard work we will need to put into our own music videos.

Prelim Storyboard
We will be producing our own 50 second music clip basing it upon the first 50 seconds of the music video 'I Really Like You' by Carly Rae Jepson using these 5 shots.

Our Prelim Idea
For our Prelim, we are thinking of doing the song 'I Really Like You' by Carly Rae Jepson:
The reason we've decided on this song choice is because it is a very popular well known song as well as the shots being easy and simple to replicate. In this music video there are also many varieties of shots which makes the music video more interesting and this is something we would like to incorperate into our music video.

Our first Initial Prelim Idea
Before we thought of using the song 'I Really Like You' by Carly Rae Jepson as inspiration, we thought of using 'Falling' by HAIM:
The reason We used Carly Rae Jepson's 'I Really Like You' was because it's very catchy and in the space of 2 weeks was a good song to learn and practice and also there are many settings in the 'I Really Like You' video that we can play around with.
There were many shots for example; the bedroom shots, the tracking street shot and lastly still bathroom shot and compared to HAIM's 'Falling' which only has a couple of different close up and mid shots throughout the first 50 seconds and one long shot which doesn't give us as a group, much to experiment with.
